Empties #6

I never thought I would say that one day, but I am actually going through a lot of products on a regular basis. I've been accumulating empty products like a maniac, the reason also being that I used to never finish anything and therefore had a lot of just-about-empty bottles all over my bathroom. Long gone are the days of me thinking that way!
Since Empties posts will come a lot more frequently on this blog now, I am not going to talk about every single product in full as it's time-consuming and I find it really annoying (sorry!). Therefore, I will make the odd note here and there but that shall be it. However, if you want to know more about a certain product, you are of course more than welcome to ask about it in the comments and I will get back to you.

I am very far from being a hoarder or a messie, but I've been meaning to blog about these empty products for a while now and I just haven't gotten around to. I've binned them a long time ago (two months ago I believe?), so there's new trash that will find its way into your subscription boxes soon haha! Since they are an awful lot, I'm just typing down the product names. If you are interested in hearing my opinion on a certain product, please don't hesitate and contact me.

Hi everyone!

Long time, to talk! I am genuinely sorry about that, but I am just so busy right now that I barely have a minute or two to sit down and breathe after all, so I neglected my blog a whole lot which I never meant to but oh well, sometimes life doesn't go how you want it to, right? I am now trying to at least schedule two or three posts every weekend that go up throughout the week then, so fingers crossed this is going to work out!

Anway, I have of course accumulated a shedload of empty products while I was gone from the bloggingsphere and I thought I would give you some mini reviews on them!

I am currently using products up like nobody's business. Seriously, considering the time span since my last Empties post (link here) and the amount of producs I have accumulated again, you must think my whole day consists of slapping creams, scrubs and other potions on to my body ;)

July is over folks! I can't believe how quickly this month passed by, that means my vacation is coming to an end very soon! I've been good at finishing products this month although I will probably not use up enough products to make these posts on a monthly basis in the future.

I recently watched a video from Leigh Ann who discussed her finished products and she actually (hilariously!) put the whole idea of Empties posts/videos in a nutshell:

Empties #1

So at the beginning of this year, I had decided to take part in "Project Pan", a project to force me into using up more products. I used to post about every single item I'd used up, but I found that rather stressful so now I'm collecting my empties to blog about them.

Skincare Empties!

Hey everyone!

So, I'm really starting to feel successful and happy as my 2012 project seems to go really nicely so far. I aim at emptying as many products as possible, first of all to use up all the half-empty products lingering around in my bathroom and on my makeup table and secondly to motivate myself to use some products more often (like eye cream for example).

Nivea Visage Daily Essentials Toner

This is the second bottle I've emptied of this and I still really like it. It's a wonderful refreshment after cleansing your skin and it's moisturizing which is even important if you have oily skin like I do. I'm about to get my third bottle!

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Daily Moisturizer

I had heard lots of good things about this product and so I went ahead and got a tube of this. It's a lovely everyday moisturizer, it's absorbed very quickly leaving your skin soft and healthy. It claims to minimize marks from previous blemishes whilst preventing new ones which I think is true, although I don't believe that my skin has cleared up only because of this moisturizer as I've tried out a bunch of other skincare products during the last couple of months, too. But overall, it's a great product for a great price and I already have a backup of this at home.

Loads of Empties!

I know it seems crazy, but I actually managed it to use up ALL of my body lotions! This has done me proud because I'm usually waaaay to lazy to use this after my shower (my skin is normal, so I always feel like I don't really need it). But I did force myself to use more body lotion with the result that my skin is soft and smooth and nice. I will definitely keep on doing that!

So here are the empties:

Garnier Intensive 7 Days Body Lotion Mango, 400ml

I love everything about this body lotion. It moisturizes extremely well (and the moisture lasts a good 4-5 days!), it smells divine and it absorbs quickly.
Repurchase? Hell yes!

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Moisturizing Body Lotion, 75ml each

I got these two samples last year and enjoyed using them up: They moisturize very well and absorb quickly. What I don't like so much is that they're pretty much scentless. But it's a very satisfying body lotion though!
Repurchase: No.
