My Makeup (and Hair): Minimal Summer Beauty

I've been doing lots of summer-related posts recently, mainly due to the reason that we had quite a bit of sun in Germany recently which I tried to enjoy as much as possible. Since I was staying outside so much, I tried to use as few products as possible aiming my makeup to look effortless and bronzed.

I concealed my under-eye circles and any sort of redness with Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer and set it it with a tiny bit of powder. I then used my essence Sun Club bronzer for that "I just got back from my summer holiday" sun-kissed look. For my cheeks I used essence lip & cheek creme in 02 beauty on tour, a lovely coral pink cream blusher that I blogged about here.

I filled in my brows with the darker shade from the Catrice Eyebrow Set and set everything with essence lash & brow gel. I only used a bit of Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze on my lid and a bit along the lower lash line, It's the loveliest bronzey cream eyeshadow that stays put (even on my oily lids!) for many hours. I followed with a thick coat of L'Oréal Telescopic Waterproof on my lashes.

I sectioned my hair and wrapped pieces of it around a one inch curling iron. I alternated directions of curling to give it that more messy, kind of beachy look. I followed Aspyn's Tutorial (link here), so if you want to know more about the technique, go ahead and watch the video, it's really easy!

What products do you love using in the summer?
