QUIZ: What's your perfect holiday makeup?

Hey guys!
I know that a lot of you are probably struggling with what makeup you're going to wear this christmas. I admit that it's a little early to think about it now, but when you have a clue about how your makeup should look like, you still got thechance to get your hands on the cute (LIMITED!) holiday collections by MAC, Sleek, Chanel etc.
So let's just jump right into it!

1.) Are you into wearing glitter?
A: Well, depends on where and how much.
B: Oh yes, I love glitter!
C: Hell, no!

2.) Do you want your makeup to be more subtle or more eye-catching?
A: Eye-Catching, please!
B: A little bit of both, I would say.
C: Subtle, but festive, is what I want.

3.) Do you like trying out (glamorous) colors when it comes to makeup?
A: Yeah, I do!
B: No, not really.
C: Yes, but only subtle ones like some berry shades.

Mostly A: Tiffany's Deep Purple Smokey Eye
This look is perfect for everyone who likes to try out some color, but who also wants to looks glamorous and festive. Dark purple is very noble and combined with some shimmery grey shades, it makes the perfect holiday look for you!




Mostly B: Allison's Shimmery Grey Eye
If you're not into wearing colors, but into glitter even more, this is the perfect look for you! A shimmery grey smokey eye is always gorgeous, combined with the highlighter and the shimmery lips, it's a wonderful holiday look.



Mostly C: Ingrid's Subtle Brown Eye + Berry Lips
If you're one of those who tend to love and wear warmer colors, then this is your look. The warm brown eye makeup matches the beautiful berry lip.





Note: The videos are just suggestions for you that are supposed to guide you. Use the makeup that you have (or that you're going to buy: We all go a little crazy before christmas!). You can totally change the looks, my tips:
• Look A/B/C: Add false lashes if the eyes are not dramatic enough for you.
• Look C: Apply a berry lipstick (and not a lipstain) to achieve more coverage and a deeper color.
• Look A: If you don't like purple, use a dark green or blue.

Monday Questionnaire: October 17th, 2011

Hey guys!
I finally got the time to do the monday questionnaire, so here we go:

1.) Mood
Bad. Got some health problems right now, probably need surgery. Not the best start into this week.

2.) What do you hear right now?
I'm currently listening to 'Somewhere only we know' by Keane on my iTunes. Love that song so much!

3.) Do you have any tattoos?
Nope.

4.) Current nail polish
essence's 'Trust in fashion'. Gorgeous fall green!

5.) What is your favorite pair of shoes?
My classic cream-colored 4,5-inch pumps. I don't really get to wear them very often, but I always enjoy doing so!

6.) Current outfit
Dark blue Skinnies, black t-shirt, checked shirt (arms uprolled and ends knotted).

7.) Do you collect anything?
I started collecting makeup this year, but besides that...I always buy postcards wherever I go and keep them all in a box.


8.) What is your favorite perfume (or body/soap scent if you don't wear perfume)?
For every day: Kate by Kate Moss. For special occassions: YSL's Parisienne. ♥

9.) Do you feel younger or older that your current age?
Well, I'm 16 right now, but somehow I feel older, like 19 or 20. I always felt a little bit older than many of the people that are at my age.

10.) Weekly goals
Pass the chemistry test, find a halloween outfit, start going to the gym again.

La crème de la crème of youtube beauty gurus

Hey guys!
As promised, I'm going to do my post about my favorite youtube beauty channels today. I discovered them over a good 6 months, so you can be sure that I really like them and that their tips are good. Of course this is just my personal opinion!

Juicystar07

Who is she? Laura "Blair" Fowler (18) is a MUST for everyone who starts watching youtube makeup videos. Her channel has already received over 154 millions views. In 2011, she had a background role in the Disney movie 'Prom'.
What does she do? On her beauty channel, there are lots of haul videos and really good makeup tutorials. Blair also owns a vlog channel (otherjuicystar07). She and her sister Elle own the website elleandblair.com and on top of that, the two just released a cell phone accessory line called 'Cellairis'. They also own an online shop for personalized stuff called shopglitzyglam.com.

Who is she? Lisa "Elle" Fowler (23) is Blair's older sister. She had started doing youtube videos first and made Blair start doing them. She shares an appartment in L.A. with Blair who she considers her best friend.
What does she do? Elle does a lot of good series like 'Back To School Series', 'Travel Series' or 'Beauty DIY'. She also runs a vlog channel (EllesGlitterGossip). For the rest, see above.

Who is she? Ingrid (22) is youtube's sweetheart. She has already been featured in 'Seventeen' Magazine as a Beauty Smartie.
What does she do? Ingrid does very good makeup tutorials (like a sweatproof one for summer) or just how to wing out your eye liner perfectly. Her vlog channel is really funny (TheGridMonster).

Who is she? Allison (22) has not one of the most famous channels, but is definitely worth watching!
What does she do? Allison has great makeup tutorials (easy to do!) on her channel as well as some really good videos such as 'Q&A: Beauty', reviews and nail polish related videos. Also check out her vlog channel (Allisonvlogs) for more personal videos!
