As you can see, there's not too many beauty products this month for multiple reasons. First up, I've been sick pretty much throughout the entire month and the least thing I can be bothered with when feeling awful is makeup. Also school started again for me which means I take very little risk and tend to rely on the beauty bits that I know work for me. I feel an everyday makeup post coming soon...
Anyway, here's what made the cut this month:
1. Essence Studio Nails Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer
I'm usually not one for cheap top coats, but after reading a couple of rave reviews, I had to purchase as my Essie Good To Go was running low and getting very gloopy. I am very content with this little product, it dries my nail polish very quickly, minimizes chipping and has a really nice glossy shine to it. Plus being priced at 2.49€, it certainly won't break the bank...
2. Florena Hand Konzentrat (hand cream)
The only hand cream I've been reaching for this month. It's very moisturizing, quickly absorbed and - the best part - it smells divine. I can't help but sniffing my hands constantly whenever I put this on. Definitely a winner for me and I will most likely repurchase once I run out!
3. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 001 Transparent
Many bloggers name this as their favorite pressed powder and as a fellow oily skinned gal, I had to know what all the fuss was about. The color is great, very light and yellow-toned aka the perfect match for me. It doesn't mattify my skin for too long though, but it certainly does the job well!
4. Korres Lip Butter in Quince
I think this is a gorgeous product and combines all the features I like in a lip product: it's hydrating, lightweight, slightly tinted and not sticky. Read my review on it here.
5. Primark Natural Linen Candle
I picked two of these up last time I had a sneak through my local Primark and am very glad that I did. The scent is very warm, clean and slightly floral which makes it very soothing and lovely to burn on a Sunday. Bliss...
6. Kiehl's Lip Balm #1
You probably all know this since it is a cult product amongst celebrities, makeup artists and beauty lovers like me. It saved my pout during two sicknesses this month and really pumped some hydration back into my lips. I also like to use it on my cuticles. I'd consider this a staple in every makeup bag!
